Commemorating the Sahibzade – Lecture at Khalsa Jatha Gurdwara

I was honoured to deliver a lecture at Khalsa Jatha Gurdwara, London on Saturday, 20th December, in commemoration of the Sahibzade – the martyred children of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

During the talk, I discussed important manuscripts of the Sri Dasam Granth Sahib, tying them together with Hukumnamas dated to 1696, and explored how these sources illuminate the spiritual and historical world of the Guru. I also spoke about significant relics associated with Guru Gobind Singh Ji, including a gun bearing verses from Chandi Charitra and the Charaina linked to the Battle of Bhangani Sahib, alongside select relics connected with the Sahibzade themselves.

The lecture concluded with a lively and thoughtful Q&A session, reflecting the deep interest and engagement of the sangat. I look forward to continuing these discussions, with more lectures planned for 2026.
